I do not exaggerate when I say this is the best B&B I have stayed in. We arrived a lot earlier than planned due to the terrible weather, but were greated warmly and enthusiastically by Kathleen and Colin (and their playful dog). It was pretty easy to find and the views were great - despite the heavy rain. We stayed... more

Very relaxing and pleasant stay in this charming B&B. Views absolutely beautiful - such a pretty location. The owners were absolute gems, catering to our every need and very friendly and chatty! :) Made us feel completely at home as soon as we arrived. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing - very rarely did we need to eat lunch! Very caring... more

My experiences of Ashaig have been nothing like what has been described by dotyacd and the Australians. I hope readers can see how out of context these reviews are. This was the second time we have visited Ashaig. We stayed for 4 days with Colin & Kathleen and enjoyed every minute of it. Beautiful house, scenery and we were made... more

Our experience was remarkably similar to the one entitled “Horrible Little People” by skyevisitor. I wish I had read it before choosing Ahsaig. The man and woman who run this business tried to ruin our trip but did not succeed. more

We offer a warm welcoming B & B with home grown and home made food.Everything you need to enjoy your stay on Skye. It is however not expected that guests arrive after 11pm. We do not serve breakfast in bed and we expect our property to be left behind and bills paid on departure. We are neither a Hotel or...

A lovely location, very comfortable, clean, modern and well equipped bedrooms and showers, a warm 'geordie' welcome and an excellent breakfast, all for a very modest price - what more could you ask for? With a lounge overlooking the garden and sea, plenty to read about the area and located between Portree and Dunvegan, Ashaig B&B is well placed also... more

We found this bed and breakfast in the Scotlands Best B&B and were not disappointed. the accomodation was a very good standard and the owners friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great, I am hooked on real scots porridge now! The owners had lots of helpful information and maps of the island and this helped up plan our trips. I... more

This B&B is in an ideal location to explore Skye, located within a short drive of the main scenic attractions of the island. The house is new, clean & comfortable, with a great breakfast served each morning. The view from the house is great, looking over a beautiful bay. The owners were very friendly and accomodating, making sure we had... more

We stayed at Ashaig for three nights in late April and absolutely loved it! Colin and Kathleen are warm, friendly hosts, the breakfasts were superb (I don't think we ate a lunch the entire time we were there, the food was so good and filling!), and the rooms and beds were very comfortable. And the sunroom and views out onto... more

I hardly know where to begin with this god awful place. We chose it based on their website blurb about relaxation and watching otters and seals lolling about in front of the house etc etc. After many hectic weeks of travelling, we were looking forward to a rest, one of us was ill and the others planned to take walks... more

Very clean rooms with modern decoration and fittings. Nice warm bedrooms, very attentive owners (expect to talk to them at breakfast, so don't be grumpy!), and massive tasty breakfasts are cooked to order, with there being a good range of different breakfasts available. Be aware that you need to be out during the day from 10.30 till 4pm to allow... more
