Beware on-line Bookers- A group of 7 of us were in Monahan's for a funeral. We had made on-line reservations for two double bed rooms @$105.00 + tax per room per night. "Best Rate available" When we arrived we asked for two additional rooms with single beds. The room rate if we had walked in off the street was $70.00+tax... more
I was in Monahans for a funeral. Wanted a clean place to stay that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Was graciously shown a room when I asked them...and also given an early check in. I'm currently working in Kermit, TX I'm with the oilfield. Of course I'm looking for a great place to stay and a fair rate. Unfortuntely, Kermit doesn't really have a "decent" place to stay and a big price to boot. I meet a couple of guys at a Gas Station and you know ask em' where is the best place... more
An extra $100. was taken from our debit card that we used to pay for our room. I called the motel and was told we broke a chair...WE DID NOT BREAK A CHAIR! Are they even allowed to deduct this money without my notification? Is that legal? mdp more
I was there on a business trip ! The place is really good. The beds were comfortable and swimming pool was just excellent. Customer service was great too and rooms were well maintained. We had breakfast at the restaurant and food was good quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of staying in Monahans. more
