we did not stay at the hotel only ate at the restaurant and the food was terrible this combined with the rudeness of management made it a very bad dining experience. more

The Hotel Fredonia is a great place with a wonderful, friendly and helpful staff and owner/manager. Step back in time with modern updates. Clean and quiet throughout with many classic touches and modern amenities. A great hotel to stay in for one night or for a whole week, for business or pleasure. Once again, the staff that I had contact... more

We stayed at Fredonia Hotel this weekend and truly enjoyed it. My husband rode in the Luklin Bike ride and I got to see all the great shops one block away from hotel in Nacogdoches. The staff was very friendly and allowed me a late check-out till my husband returned from ride. It is an older hotel so your not... more

The Fredonia is really beautiful -- it just needs a little help. The ground floor with the restaurant, bar, pool, etc is one of the prettiest little spots in Nacogdoches. My room was ok but the mattress was old and too soft, and the card key receptacle on our door didn't work half the time so we had to have... more

My family stayed at the Fredonia recently. I grew up in Nacogdoches and watched the hotel go through many renovations; I actually worked at the front desk in 1964. It was a beautiful experience. The new owner has put her heart into the renovation. There are many personal touches, including fresh flowers and classy furnishings. The hotel is absolutely spotless.... more

Older, quaint property in downtown Nacogdoches. My daughter brought me along to see SFA before she made her final decision to attend the school. School was out and the hotel was very quiet, maybe saw two or three other guests there. Staff was nice. The hotel is older and shows its age but clean and one gets a feeling of... more

We stayed at the Fredonia for a little 2 night getaway (get out of Houston). Our room, while a little dated (after all, built in 1954) was very clean and charming. Our favorite place was the patio outside the bar with live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The jazz trio was really good and the service was too. That... more

My husband, daughter and I chose the Fredonia for it's charm and location. Our room was a garden room, which required us to park on the outside part of the hotel and walk around to our room. The room was in the middle of being renovated. Although not perfect, it was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was... more

I stayed at teh Fredonia after Hurricane Ike. It was the only room left in Nacogdoches and after having no electricity for days, having to use an outdoor grill to cook and no running water, the Fredonia was a life saver. I stayed in the older section, the carpet was not the best, the room showed wear and tear, but... more

The only reason I stayed here was because it was the host hotel for the genealogy conference. The room was located in a separate building and was old and dingy. I had to ask the shoe shine man for help finding my room because the front desk staff was not helpful at all. I would not recommend staying here. I... more
