My husband and I just needed to get away for the weekend so I planned a trip to Palestine. Our room was awesome with a whirlpool tub in our room. The ceilings were very tall and flat screen tv and a sitting area. The room was immaculate. Breakfast at LQ is always a bonus. We visited the Sweet Dreams Winery.... more
I've made several business trips to Palestine, most for stays longer than a week. As of this review there is only one other hotel in town that can compete with La Quinta (Holiday Inn Express). There are two other hotels currently under construction, and this town can use them both. Do NOT stay anywhere other than La Quinta or HIE... more
Got a great rate, amazed at how nice a new hotel is. Far exceeded what we expected from a LQ. Comfortable beds,nice bathrooms,great breakfast with TX shaped waffles! Lots of restaurants/fast food nearby. Highly recommend Tx. state railroad ride-10 minutes away. They make it into the "Polar Express" in Dec. more
