After reading some of the reviews here, when we booked we asked for a recently remodeled room. We stayed in a one bedroom that was very nice and had a great view of the pools and ocean. Port Royal is one of those places you can love and hate at the same time. The place has been here for many years. It really could use a major facelift. It seems to be decaying right before your very eyes. It use to basically be one of the nicer places to go on Port A as it is known.... more

I picked Port Royal from the website. The pool and condos looked very nice but when we got there we found a very different site. The stairwell and hallways are littered with trash that collect bugs. Our room key didn't work half the time we tried it. My family had to wait outside in a thunderstorm while they fixed it.... more
