I had made reservation for this hotel because of the previous reviews, worst mistake! as soon as we walkd in and turned on the TV for the kids, it made a loud noise and started the whole room stunk like burnt right away. The manger advised maintenance would be right over, which was him and he exchanged it for one... more

When you are in Port A and want a great casual place to stay - stay here.. quietly, unassumingly PINK.!.with a great hot tub and small pool/sitting area this is a real deal ...The manager, Debby and her Jack-O are low key and friendly... as are all the people we met there. Booked Christmas Eve sight unseen, when arrived the room was 'very dirty' even found blood splatter across head board. The place truly is less than 1 star unless you are a Meth Addict. Receptionist understood & agreed to refund prepaid reservation. plus they only had 3 other people staying at their Inn. We went to Holiday Inn down the street... more

This is simply not true, unfortunately some people choose to use this site to vent their frustrations, instead of leaving actual true statements. This guest stated he had never been to Port Aransas when he made the reservation, he was made aware of the 72hr cancellation policy like all guests. We just returned from a tour of Texas trip, which included a 3 night stay at the Port Aransas Inn. What can we say, other than “We loved it!!” We regularly book all of our vacations using Trip Advisor (honeymoon and anniversary trips included). My family and I always go to Port Aransas because of the beach, people and places to see, and my personal favorite, fishing. We always have a rough time finding lodgings that are affordable on the island, as well as managers who are friendly. I went online before our trip to find some good deals on a place to stay.... more
