Love this hotel. Must be the best in town. FREE YUMMY BUFFETT BREAKFAST. You can even make a waffle shaped like Texas (see photo--the raisins represent the cities I visited in Texas). This was a hotel room unlike any I have ever stayed at. The layout was new, the room had a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, stove top and microwave in the kitchen unit. I stayed overnight at the Hawthorne in the king suite - great room; I will definitely stay here again. Rooms are big, clean, comfortable. Staff was excellent and eager to help. Exercise room is good. If you are generally picky about where you stay, this is the best place of all choices in this small city. The hotel is near a restaurant "Cheddars" that had good food (Chilli's type, but better) and the rooms were neat but a little out-dated.
