First off let me say the price is right at under $50, but like the old addage, you get what you pay for. The city of San Angelo & West Texas in general has cricket plagues of biblical proportions at times before it freezes. They're fairly inert insects (some cultures even eat the things) but in America they still weird me out when they're in my hotel room. The manager seemed to try to spray etc but some days they hover outside the room door where they sense the air conditioning.
If you stay here when it's not insect season, the room is still pretty basic. For hygeine issues the pillows & beds here lack the inner liners/mattresss pads which you find at "nicer" hotels. Some days when we got back to the room it lacked things (towels) that the maid forgot to replace? And I also had to go to the front desk to get a telephone book since the room was missing that too.
