Stayed with family to attend Texas State University graduation. This looked to be the nicest place in San Marcos. Lobby is very nicely done. This hotel is impressive upon entry with a huge common area with fountain, restaurant, etc. The hotel staff are very courteous and helpful. Great service, beautiful new hotel. Great for families with kids/teens. Better design than earlier Embassy Suites as you can now access the bath without going through the bedroom. Wonderful breakfast, plenty of services not expected in San Marcos such as a spa and coffee shop. more

This was our first stay at the "brandnew" Embassy Suites in San Marcos.
