enjoyed our romantic 3 day stay at howard johnsons this past few days. price was very reasonable for a king bed with jacuzzi in main room. staff was very accommodating, extremely friendly. our compliments to hj for the great staff. within walking distance from the beach. a very nice surprise. a hidden gem indeed. we will definitely return someday soon.... more

Ms. Romer the manager made our girls reunion trip very memorable. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly!!! The manager personally checked in with us to make sure everything was up to the hotels standards. The pool was clean and had great music to enjoy. more

The rooms were nice and big and clean! Beds were vey comfortable. Room service was good. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. We were centrally located and could walk to the bay or the ocean. Lodging at SPI is a mixed bag. Between the hotels with pet policies that get you hair and fleas, ridiculous cancellation policies, and money to be made during the lucrative spring break/summer frat house most these chains hold back on remodeling and upkeep and this Hojo is no exception.
