the one staff we dealt with was very nice. however, bathrooms were dirty, hair in tub, corners of the wall, etc. there was NO breakfast because "someone" forgot??? to go to the store...not even a cup of coffee anywhere. we would suggest moving on down the street where there more hotels with better pricing. booked this thru Orbitz, so would... more

We went on a fishing trip and the staff at WindWater were very accommodating. They let us park our boat in the parking lot and asked us how the fishing went. Paid $100+ a night for this place. This was not a resort. All hotels on the island are expensive, but they really need to re-evaluate charging folks this kind of money for a place that would regulary not charge $50 a night somehwere else. The hotel is old and the problems with the coffee makers persists, but the "bayside" ground floor rooms have a sliding door that goes right out to a common area on the bank of a tiny little lagoon off the bay. It's not a scenic paradise, but great pan fishing (or bait fishing) can be done right in your back... more

This property has new owners and have a huge undertaking since the last huricane. Previous owners closed the property, and the new owners have been cleaning and fixing and painting and ........, but progress does show. The housekeeping MUST get better or the new owner is doomed for failure. You can fix everythinhg up, but with poor housekeepers it wont... more

It's a good thing my husband & I are old folks - grandkids were not with us. This place is nasty. Corridors were nasty, towels are dingy, coffee pots don't work. I asked the housekeeping staff for a new pots and was informed that most of the coffee pots did not work. Pay a little extra, and enjoy your stay... more

Hotel clerk was very nice and helpful. The hotel is old, but it has been renovated, somewhat. Pool was a little dirty. Overall it was ok. Price was reasonable. more
