I would compare the Travelodge in South Padre to a Motel 6. The bathroom had no air and the blinds in the dressing area facing the crowded pool were missing. It is definately worth spending a little more money and find another hotel. When we arrived at the Travelodge the front desk staff were not very friendly or welcoming.
