We had stayed at this motel several times before. We generally regarded it as offering reasonably comfortable rooms at a reasonable rate. However, the “Remodeled-Remarkable” renovation that is occurring at many of the Motel 6 locations is a major step backwards, in my opinion. I was very pleased to get into this simple, clean, cool room after a long day at the beach! Watched plasma tv and snoozed right off! Nice vanity and shower/bathroom! Will stay again! more

It was noisy, had to call the front desk several times for them to shut the rowdy crowd next door up, the police were called in the end. No clean towels, small rooms. more

This was my second time to stay at the Motel 6 on South Padre. The first time (Aug 05) was excellent... nice simple room, comfy bed, etc. The only problems were some ants that were around the door (but they weren't in the rest of the room) and the toilet was messed up.
