We rented a 3 BR condo for extended family trip of 6 adults and 5 kids. The bedrooms upstairs were ok- one had a kind, one Queen, and one had 2 twins which we had to push together. We had a very disappointing experience at the Sunchase IV. We feel the property has not been kept up. It used to be a gorgeous place. Also, management has been sufferring as our condo was dirty and smelled of smoke when we checked it. (Supposedly they are a non smoking facility.) more

The Sunchase is a embarrassment! The wallpaper was falling off the walls in sheets, some stapled back up. The sink was the only thing that worked in the bathroom. It smells like mold and microwaved shrimp. I felt like Clak Griswold. Bad Deal!! more

There are definitely much better places to stay on South Padre, especially for that kind of money. I can only speak for the one-bedroom condo, but even that is mis-named.
