The Holiday Inn Express is the cleanest, friendliest place to stay on South Padre Island, Texas. I am a "Winter Texan" and have stayed there each year for more than a month. There was running up and down the hall, slamming doors, loud screaming and cursing, until 3:00 A.M. The door was slammed so many times it broke.
