Wonderful views, quiet, secluded, but just a short drive to town. A true get away. Louise, the owner of Wildhorse Station built a wonderful covered pavilion with chairs, fire pit, picnic tables, lighting, hammocks with one of the best sunset views I saw while visiting Big Bend. We had a wonderful relaxing stay. If you're looking to be pampered- you... More

Spent several days in Big Bend National Park. Did not see a place I would have rather stayed. Not a world class hotel by any stretch but it is what it is. Extremely quiet with beautiful views looking out the back. We had no cell phone service and no phone in the trailer, so if you want to be unreachable,... More

the owner calls them cabins, but they are one-bedroom hose trailers. so it has a full kitchen- fridge, stove, microwave, dishware and pans/skillets, towels. also satellite tv. there are 2 chairs on the porch- a beautiful place to sit and enjoy sunsets, the stars, the beautiful setting and scenery, etc. it's very quiet and private, a really nice retreat. there... We just stayed here for several days and LOVED our cabin (we had #1). The view was awesome. I watched the sun rise from the front porch, wow . Listened to the coyotes. Watched the stars. What a place. It's rustic, this isn't the Hilton, but if you want a remote, peaceful, relaxing vacation you will love it. We looked... More

I stayed in Unit 6 during my visit to Terlingua last winter and couldn't have been happier with the trailer. Everything (and everyone) exceeded my expectations. The view was spectacular, the accommodations fit perfectly with the area, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The location is perfect. Secluded enough to hike, relax, read, and enjoy... More

We spent 8 days traveling through West Texas making our way down to Big Bend. We spent 5 nights here. Louise & her daughter Wanda were so nice. We stayed in #5 which was perfect for us. They are nothing fancy but clean & inviting. The views are incredible all around. It was great having a full kitchen & grill.... More

Summary: We spent a belated honeymoon here in September 2012 and decided to go back at the same time every year for honeymoon repeats! Friendly, family-built, -owned, and –run, this place is perfect for a relaxing, private getaway in nature. The location is fabulous – less than half an hour to the national park, about 10 minutes to the little... More

Oh I have stayed at this place several times, since 1998, up until 2001 or 02, I believe was the last time my party stayed here. It is a GREAT relief to find this place, especially if you been staying in really bad motels all along State Hwy-90 in south Texas, which runs along the border. We used to go... More

I was nervous about this place before I arrived because there were not many reviews on it or photos. It wound up being one of my favorite places that I have ever stayed in on a trip. If you are already adventurous enough to head to West Texas then this place is perfect for you. We stayed in a trailer... More

We stayed at two bedroom lodge #7 at Wildhorse Ranch on July 27-29, 2012 on our trip to Big Bend. Place is well maintained, clean, cozy and spacious. You have everything you need for your stay including fully equipped kitchen (I would recommend to bring a good knife). Renting rate was lowest you could get around: $80.00 a night. Have... More
