We were a large part ages between 6 months and 60's. We were pleased with this accommodation because we only needed somewhere to sleep. Everything was clean and the price so reasonable that we will be back.

The lady in the office was a little curt when we arrived, especially when we asked for a kettle (nope not possible!) but overall this motel was great for exploring Big Bend if you just need a cheap(ish) bed for the night. We celebrated Christmas in Terlingua and enjoyed staying at the Chisos Mining Company. Think of your stay as very civilized camping. We had a full sized fridge and a 4 burner stove with an oven. I stayed at a 6-people off-site house. The "off-site" houses, painted with different cute colors, are actually located right inside an creepy automobile junk yard. They said it is a nice house with creek view. In reality, it has creepy view that is just next to a recycle plant. What you will see is piles of used rubber tires.
