20 Dec 2009 | Trip type: Friends getaway

4 friends and myself stayed in a 2 bed, couch, and 2 bathroom room. Twice we came back to the room after the cleaning staff had been there to find our room door wide open. Our key had to be re-programmed during our stay and our trashcans were not emptied, the dirty towels NOT picked up off the floor like... more

We went to Tyler for our anniversary trip and stayed at this hotel. This hotel seemed great from the outside, but after arriving in the room there were no ice makers on site and the refrigerator did not have any ice in it. After we went to sleep there was so much noise coming from upstairs and around us that... more

Hotel is older, with some updates in the room, but generally shows wear and tear and doesn't have it a crisp, clean feel at all. First impression walking in was the musty smell. Kept shoes on at all times.Air conditioning loud, which helped drown out the live band behind the hotel and the drag racing that seemed to be going... more

Excellent location near everything, and when the day is done you feel like you're coming home. Living area, fully supplied kitchen (and they'll even do your grocery shopping!), comfortable sleeping area, an a property with a college campus feel. Full hot breakfast provided daily, and evening managers gatherings several days a week ... and a staff that can't be beat! more

It was very conveniently located near my office. The breakfast and evening social supper was excellent. The rooms had a kitchenette and was kept very clean. Had free acess to wireless internet. more

We're from this area, and were back in town for a wedding. Purposely wanted this hotel for its GREAT location (close to major thoroughfares and good restaurants), as well as the amenities (very decent breakfast buffett, newly [last week!] remodeled swimming pool). Didn't want to pay rack rate so tried Priceline NYOP and really did get it for HALF of... more

Positives - Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Provided a pack and play for our baby. Good breakfast. Large room. Otherwise, it is like staying in an apartment. Building fairly spread out around the property - can't just walk to the front desk/breakfast area, etc. Bed needed replacement - extremely sunken in. Pretty noisy at night. Bathroom needed remodeling... more

I stayed here for one night in October. I booked it on Priceline (name your own price - 3 star) and got it for $60 a night. Staff was nice, location is great and they supposedly have a no parties policy. The room was quiet and very nice - much larger than traditional rooms and had a full, small kitchen.... more

It just so happened that I had to visit 3 hotels from the same chain in the course of 1 month, and this ranks on the bottom of my list. Front desk is polite, no complaints there. I was given a suite which had a living room, kitchennette, dining room and a bathroom on 1st level and a bedroom and... more

Conveniently located close to the intersection of Loop 323 and the Troup Highway, this place is like staying in an apartment complex. There are many separate buildings on site with approximately 6 efficiency units in each building. The rooms are large and have a large kitchen equipped with a full sized stove and refrigerator, dishwasher, plates, glasses, and utensils so... more
