Motel room was clean, service/breakfast was good, price with AAA/AARP discount was right. Local restaurant (Cattleman's...) had great steaks and seafood (and drinks--a beer in my case) all reasonably priced. Good motel/place to stay on Interstate10 other than Fort Stockton where prices are higher. more

My wife and I stayed here for one night. It was not as good as a Days Inn Hotel used earlier during our holiday in Texas, but the price was significantly less. Our main criticism was that the hairdryer unit was hanging off the wall in our room, and it had a broken plug. more

Stayed in Van Horn on the way from Carlsbad, NM to Terlingua, TX. Booked Days Inn through website and had no problem with reservation. Hotel itself was run down and rooms barely clean. Took a walk down through Van Horn hotel sort of relfects the town itself. Run down and not really worth the stopover. If you want a break... more
