I stayed here for 3 nights in Feb. 2009 for work. I was working about an hour away, but Vernon Texas was the closest town with decent hotels and at least some selection of food. I tried to get into the Holiday Inn Express first, but they would not honor the federal government rate of $70 that I am allowed... more

After driving from Colorado, thru a "white-out" in the panhandle of Texas, we were ready for a place to rest. Stumbling across this hotel at 10:30 at night, just on the edge of the snow storm, we felt quite lucky to get a room.
