Hotel Waco, recently affiliated with Ramada, struck me as a derelict. I didn't see any other guests until going to breakfast this morning. This in spite of several trips up and down the long hallways. On the upside: 1. Plenty of parking. 2. Easy access to I-35. 3. Close to Baylor. 4. Friendly staff person. 5. Beds were comfortable. On... more

We were incredibly happy with our stay here this month. Hotel Waco exceeded our expectations of a hotel of its class. We expected mediocre service, decent rooms, and overall a tolerable stay. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find a warm, friendly staff and extremely clean, comfortable rooms. The rooms were well lit, nicely decorated, and offered particularly comfortable mattresses... more

I was recently there for convention. Got a better rate from hotels.com so booked it with them. When I got home after the trip, I realized that the hotel had billed me as well. I had already been charged $140.00 by hotels.com and then the hotel billed be at $178.00. After several phone calls to management and hotels.com faxing them... more

We stayed here for a track meet . The first impression when we walked in the door was this place stinks! It smelled like stale bacon from the kitchen. The room was clean and fine BUT there were several groups in the hotel and the maids came around early in the morning to collect towels so they could wash them... more

We've stayed at the Hotel Waco multiple times in the last few years. In fact, I have contributed a positive review below. I regret that I have to change my perspective after our most recent stay. The hotel has gone steadily down. The rooms and hallways are no longer clean, there are few towels in the rooms and the whole... more

We had a block of 20 rooms reserved at Hotel Waco when we were in Waco for a wedding. The location was very convenient. Our contact, Sharon, went out of her way to make sure we had 4th floor rooms all together. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were updated and fresh. The downstairs cafe has a great... more

There is a annual event that we attend in Waco, and for the second year the Hotel Waco was the official hotel. We stayed here last year and can't remember anything particularly good or bad, so this year I decided to write up a review. Overview: The hotel appears to have been renovated/redecorated over the past year. The room had... more
