We stayed at the Hilton Waco August 15th for 1 night. We were there for Baylor University, this hotel is not very convient because there are closer hotels but this is the nicest one in Waco. We were in room 214 a 2 Queen Bed Deluxe room. That night it was Baylor Summer Graduation night and the room next door... more

Stayed for a weekend, rooms are very nice. Clean and comfortable. Beds very good! Lots of nice towels. Coffeemaker and fridge. Stayed in the 11 floor, the manager reception is nothing like at the Embassy Suites. No free drinks, just some snack and sodas. Breakfast was disappointing too, bad taste of the coffee, and not much variety. But the hotel... more

This is a nice property with a friendly staff. I was on the Executive floor (11) and had a room with a sitting area and a nice view as one of the tallest buildings in town. The Executive lounge was nice but noisy as my room was next door. The other comment was I have to conur with other guests... more

First I must respond to the air conditioner comments. "One setting"? It's a thermostat, on the wall. Ours was fine and worked very well in the 106 degree weather. I was looking for something negative to say about our stay and all I could find was the lack of a reading light by the bed. Besides extremely friendly staff, room... more

On the good side, the room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The maid staff was also very friendly. On the downside, the level of staff professionalism and competence just wasn't there--and the AC was very loud as mentioned by others. My issues were as follows: 1. AC is very loud and has only one setting. If it is on it... more

Outdoor wedding reception - From the beginning to the end everyone was very prompt, courteous and easy to work with. I felt very comfortable with the staff and they took care of everything with no hesitation. Their experience and suggestions were greatly appreciated. When our head count went from 60 to 90 they presented other menu options that actually worked... more

While the hotel has all the charms of a Communist bloc apartment building from the outside, the inside of the hotel is tastefully done and reflects the classiness of Hilton hotels. The rooms are very spacious and up to date in their furnishings. The breakfast at the Executive lounge could have been better. In fact, I've had better breakfasts in... more

This is a nice Hilton with views of the Brazos and Baylor. The rest of the hotel is just very average. Don't expect anything special. more

The Hilton Waco is in a nice location right on the Brazos river. We had a 9th floor room and it offered a really pretty view of the river and the historic bridge. But... the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine winding up 50 feet from your face. Every single time it turned on at night the loud noise... more

Just completed two nights at the Waco Hilton. I stay here ever year as part of a Convention. The recent renovations have made this hotel much better. Our room was excellent with flat screen TV and free internet. The check in went very smooth. We had minor problems as the HD channels were not working in the hotel and we... more
