On our 7,000 mile road trip we stayed in a different hotel each night. The majority of them were in Best Western hotels which were for the most part excellent. Unforturnately, this hotel did not deserve the Best Western name. It was by far the worst hotel we stayed in on our trip. It had an inoperable room telephone. It... more

Stopped here over night on our way to Canonlands and The Arches. Very easy to find despite the roadworks. Clean good sized room with free internet, fridge and microvave. There was a small pool too. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was simple but OK considering the room rates. Would recommend for a short stop over. We also made use... more

At $89 single, not inexpensive. Standard motel, with good sized rooms, clean, free wi-fi, microwave. fridge, coffee maker, free dessert at Lamplighter restaurant down the street. Desk plus lounge chair plus table with two chairs, plenty of seating. August 09 major road construction in front of hotel. No views or ambiance, just a motel. Ice maker broken but ice available... more

Hi, we had originally booked the family room at this motel as a stop over after a day at Needles Park, while we were in Moab we wanted to extend our stay by one day. I needed to contact the Wayside Inn and see if we could bump our reservation back by one day, I was told that we could.... more

The highway right in front of the motel was being upgraded. Lanes changed each of the 4 days we were there. Our reservation was for an oversized room. Initially we were given a smaller room, but I noticed the difference in the schematic drawing immediately & asked questions. They only had one oversized room left - it faced the road... more

The rooms were large, clean and well kept. The beds were adequate and the room had a refrigerator and microwave. As others have mentioned, the breakfast was minimal, but the price of the room was also low compared to the hotels in Moab. I would recommend this motel to those visiting the Needles area of Canyonlands. Also, we had a... more

I agree with other reviewers, this is just another average motel, but it was clean, quiet, roomy and comfortable. I did have a few problems though, the microwave didn't work. The faucet in the bathroom was very hard to turn on and off and the shower valve was installed backwards, so that hot was cold and cold was hot. It... more

First off, the main picture shown above on Tripadvisor.com is incorrect. Go to Bestwestern.com for correct pictures. Stayed here for closest access to Needles district of Canyonlands (about an hour away). Nice & clean room, good size, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was standard fare--toast,englishmuffins, pre-made waffles, cereal, oatmeal, donuts, juice, coffee, tea, bananas but they also had hard boiled eggs which was definite plus! The only... more

We stayed at the Wayside Inn in April and was expecting a ho-hum hotel, but was pleasantly surprised. The room had microwave, fridge and was larger than most. The staff was very friendly. Would recommend a stay more
