Hotel has a new ownership group. Has always been a great place to stay but the staff seems friedlier. Tons going on. MMA fight that night at the hotel. A bike race the next day. Tom going on around and at the hotel. It was the place to be. Clean & Safe rooms.

Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. When we entered we were greeted by a friendly professional lady, she told us where our room was and how to get there. When we entered the room it was nice and clean but there was no refrigerator. But the worst was when there was no air conditioning available just a fan…... More

I stayed at the Ogden Marriott for a couple of nights in Jan 2013 with some friends while skiing some of the surrounding mountains. Ogden itself didn't leave a great impression, no doubt exacerbated by the inversion-related smog situation and some unpleasant dining experiences in town. The room was a decent size, however the two beds were doubles instead of... More

Dear CarolineJNY, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are so glad you enjoyed our fish tacos; they are one of our most popular menu items. Although our chef just came out with a new menu that was one of the few items we had to leave on there! I do apologize for the... More

I wasn't sure what to think when I booked my stay at the Summit Hotel. Ogden is sort of a interesting, slightly scary city but the Summit was great! The hotel is clean, well kept and the rooms are nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The best part was the food!!! They have a killer restaurant and the room... More

I’m a frequent traveler who has quite a lot of points of comparison when it comes to hotels. My stay at the Ogden Marriott was amongst the best stays I’ve ever had. A friend and I wanted to escape to the snow and mountains...We heard that the Ogden Marriott was in a great location for bars and restaurants but still close to the ski mountain. They were right! This is a friendly well-managed hotel. Stayed here for a week with ski group of 22, and they were very attentive to our needs including van service to shopping spots and other restaurants. This hotel is centrally located. It's nice to stay at a hotel where there are things to do within walking distance! The hotel staff is very nice and the room is comfortable. The pool is great and was not crowded. The only downside is the noise that comes from the heating and air system.

Pros Polite, courteous staff Great exercise room Affordable price Good breakfast, although costs extra Excellent Internet Cons The building heating and ventilation system generates a loud, low-frequency hum, even when the room unit is turned off. This effects sleep quality for noise-sensitive people. (I experienced this in two different rooms.)
