We stayed at the Ogden Marriott and skied Powder Mountain and Snow Basin. The Marriott is well situated. Across the parking lot are the 12th street restaurants. You can walk to them. They were renovating when we were there. The renovated rooms were MUCH nicer. There were quite a few skiers there. The hotel had a shuttle (free, i think)... more

When we first arrived at the Marriott, we were greeted with the sight of various emergency vehicles at the front entrance. CSI, the sheriff, police and other vehicles didn’t bode well for me. However, there was no sign of any dead body or any criminal activity inside luckily! The hotel has recently been renovated and the lobby area is very... more

I traveled to Ogden for a business meeting and had an amazing stay from day one. The renovated rooms are clean, fresh and extremely spacious. The hallway smelled fresh and I witnessed a housekeeper personally delivering a used room service tray out of guest sight and into a service corridor. I have seen less than impressive reviews on this site,... more

From check in to check out (three nights) we were treated like royalty! When we checked in on Thursday night they were all out of king rooms but had no problem switching us the next day. The ladies at the front desk always greated us by name as we wandered in and out. The rooms were newly decorated and very... more

This hotel is located in the newly revitalized downtown, which is great. The hotel itself is (relatively) old and worn, but they are trying to refurbish it, with mixed results. Got a great price from Priceline, $63 including booking fees. The room had a very strong cleaning chemical smell. I guess this is to try to remove the smoke smell... more

My husband and I needed a break from our very long cross-country trip. We'd been driving for a week and wanted a day off and we wanted to pamper ourselves. The Ogden Marriott was one of the top hotels in the city of Ogden, so we decided we'd stay there and luxuriate. Nope. Not happening. There were plenty of warnings,... more

I have never had better service anywhere I have stayed in. The Ogden Marriott is an older building, but it is newly renovated. The rooms had new LCD TV's. In-room internet was free and worked right away with no problems. Room was spotless and very quiet. Had a nice breakfast in the restaurant inside the hotel and a great meal... more

After a horrible experience at the Hampton Inn hotel next door, I choose to move to the Marriott. It was a breath of fresh air since I had just been treated so horribly at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Ogden. The Marriott is almost completely done with a renovation. The rooms are brand new with flat panel tv's. Beyond... more

Where to start... I was traveling to Weber State University for an event and the entire team was staying at the Marriott so we could have a morning meeting. I was arriving last, landing at about 11PM in Salt Lake. I finally arrived at about 12:30 ready to check into my room and was told "my room preferences were not... more

I`ve been a Marriott Rewards member for a number of years and generally you know what to expect at a Marriott property, so the below average experience this past weekend was a surprise. I booked thru the 800 number and was surprised to see that a Saturday night stay at the full service Ogden Marriott would only run $85. I... more
