We were passing through with our 8 year old grandson and needed a quick place to sleep without paying big bucks. We didn't find the Color Country Motel on Trip Advisor, but did see a rating on Google...and it looked better than one rated here across the street.

And we were NOT disappointed. It's a small looking motel in an L shape. And our room was very clean. The owner's mother-in-law put together all sorts of scenic puzzles and each room has two puzzle pictures nicely framed. What a sweet touch.

There was also a crochet piece under the lamp, and silk flowers by the beds. i.e. special little touches. The room even smelled nice when we entered. Oh, and the bedspreads were gorgeous!

Last but not least, there were pots of pretty REAL flowers in front of each pillar outside. These people care!

I thought the price was a little high for a small town motel--$76 including tax, but the rest made up for it. more
