We have stayed here several times. When we mention this place to others we meet they seem to have the idea it isn't nice but it is. The rooms are quiet and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and the portions large. The prices are reasonable. Our kids really like it there. Luckily not everyone wants to stay there which makes it easier for the rest of us to get a room. more

Don't be put off by the 1960's look. The rooms are all "paneled" spacious and clean, with big new beds. We stayed there two nights and although every room was booked, we couldn't hear a sound.

I've got a feeling management tries to put the single guests in one building and the older folks like us in the two stroy wing. I could be wrong but that was the impression I got. more
