While the small suite was the size of a typical hotel room it's floor plan works to give the feeling of separate rooms. There were two TVs, one in the sitting room and another in the bedroom. A small frig, a microwave, and coffeemaker were welcome treats. The bed was comfy, the free internet was very nice. The free breakfast was... more

We booked this hotel from lastminute.com and got a very good deal combining with airline ticket. The hotel is half-an-hour away from Alta. There is a shopping mall and plenty of nice restaurants near by. The room is very clean and decor looks new. The suite layout is very spacious and reasonably arranged. There is microwave and fridge in the... more

We needed to be in Sandy to meet friends and we chose the Holiday Inn Express in Sandy for simple reasons; in our experience Holiday Inn Express motels are clean and reliable, our stay was only two nights so if it was bad we’d soon be gone, and the room was only $84/night. The room was standard with two Queen... more

This hotel is becoming overpriced. Currently they are running over $130 per nite for standard rooms, which is ridiculous. I refuse to pay it and have gone elsewhere. I think that they are gouging. It was only a few months ago that they were about $89 a nite and just a few weeks ago that the Executive Suite was barely... more

I would stay elsewhere for threee reasons: 1. Hotel is under renovation, parking lot and first floor are a complete mess. 2. Staff is unprofessional and not very welcoming. 3. The morning continental breakfast is the worst I have ever seen--no fruit--just a bunch of bread and old pastries. more

Not a bad suite for $76 a night internet rate on their web site. Very close to ski resorts, food and malls. Very nice view of the mountains from the third floor. You won't be disappointed. We had a king suite with a pull out sofa bed. The free breakfast serves biscuits and gravy, eggs, waffles etc. more

Stayed here a few nights on business. Clean and comfortable. Short walk to a number of decent restaurants (not fast food). Easy access to/from freeway. Breakfast was a little better than average with a wafflemaker, scramled eggs - but fresh fruit instead of canned fruit cocktail would be nice. Water pressure was a little low with water-saver shower head. Nice... more

Nice hotel, pool, staff, cookies, beds, internet etc... The breakfast was not very impressive. They had waffles, toast and cold cereal very little fruit and no eggs. :( But overall I would stay here again, great location Sandy close to mall and many restaurants. Nearby Sweet Tomatoes Salad Bar restaurant is fantastic! more

The breakfast is great (scrambled eggs, bagels, belgian waffles, toast). The breakfast room gets crowded when the hotel is busy and people are trying to get to the ski hill early. The 1 bedroom suite was great for spreading out wet ski gear since it has extra space with a couch, desk/chair, and coffeetable. The refrigerator was nice but the... more

Large, clean room, nicely furnished. Not fancy. Big breakfast every morning, but unvarying menu. Is in the middle of a sea of malls and motels. Busy traffic. Lots of restaurant and shopping right there. Could be in the middle of any suburban mall, but for the mountains looming close at hand. Close to skiing. No charm here, just functional lodging.... more
