You cannot argue with the Cliff Lodge's location. Ski in, ski out with great views of the canyon. Unfortunately, that is where the good news ends. I attended a conference at the Cliff Lodge and the hotel catered the meals. Calling the kitchen third rate is too kind. Prime rib, fish you name it all way overcooked. The staff is... More

My husband and I spent 3 days in Park City/ Deer Valley and then spent another 4 days in Snowbird/ Alta. We chose to stay at the Cliff Lodge for the Snowbird/Alta part of our trip, however we would not make this same decision again. It’s hard to point out the reasons we didn’t like it, a lot of it... My boyfriend and I stayed at the cliff lodge for 3 nights. Staff was great. The hotel room was a typical lodge room. Nothing extraordinary but nothing bad. The view was excellent. This is the place to go if you want to experience intense skiing! No nightlife but we we're both exhausted after a long day on the skis. Locker... More

Stayed for a long weekend ski trip with some friends. The location of this hotel is absolutely first class. Snowbird is one of the best ski areas in the world and the Cliff Lodge is right on the snow at the gateway to the mountain. Really dosnt get any better. Access from room, to lockers, to snow, to tram is... More

We stayed one night here with our 5 & 3 year olds, and toddler. The two queen beds with crib were standard size and fine, although there are available suites, etc. The heated pool was great for kids after dinner, and they have a couple of hot tubs. The daycare for the toddler is on site in the basement, and... More

This is an amazing hotel as far as skiing designation is concerned. Ski in/ski out – you get out of the building and can immediately ski down to three different lifts, servicing all levels of skiing on Snowbird. A small climb can get you to lifts servicing a whole new area of the mountain. And if that is too much... More

This is our 3rd year staying at the Cliff Lodge - every year our group gets bigger, 'coz it is such a fine experience! There is not a lot of night life - but the restaurants have drink and appetizer specials to get you out of your room. After a hard day of skiing, we'd hit one of these, and... More

If I were to judge the hotel based on amenities and decor, I'd rate it 3/5 personally. The rooms are dim and the decor a bit worn and old. However, it has amazing lodge + ski packages and because of the affordability, I rate it 4/5 overall. Pros: Hot tub: 3 pools heated till late (the latest I headed there... More
