The Green River Bridge House helped me to recapture that special feeling about Vermont. I had such fond memories of Vermont as a child but had not been to Vermont in over 25years. My mother had booked a weekend getaway for my wife and I at the Green river Bridge house as a Christmas gift. When we finally got around to taking the trip we could not have had a more enjoyable and relaxing weekend. When we drove up on the quaint dirt roads of Vermont we where just taken back as to how beautiful the state was. When we arrived at the Green River Bridge House we where just in awe of its location. The covered bridge, the beautiful river and the very nicely redone Bridge house was a picture perfect post card.

The interior of the bed and breakfast was beautiful. Our room with the sunken tub and backyard balcony was a real bonus. Joan the innkeeper was wonderful. Her pleasantness complimented the entire weekend. Her breakfasts where very tasteful and began the day of right... more
