The hotel is easy to find and convenient. We found it quite dark and, although clean, the corridors smelt fusty. Rooms are either lake or city view. We've stayed in Burlington many times (we have a son at UVM). The Hilton was nice. The staff bent over backwards. The room was clean. I would have liked it to be more spacious. The location could not have been better. It is just across the street from Lake Champlain and several of the ferry (dinner cruise) companies. Unfortunately, we did not have a room with a lake view. Going to the hotel the building makes an unesthetic. But the rooms are comfortable, but a little bit small. We had a room with lake view ant that was great - especially for sunset. The other experiences in the hotel were disappointing, especially the service at breakfast and the quality and choice of the food offered there. more

We loved VT and loved this hotel. We also stayed at the Essex (see my not so favorable review there) and did not like it at all. Comparatively speaking, this hotel was 100x better. We'll definitely be back! more

Very nice Hilton, room was on the small side but well appointed, very clean, nice lake view and very convienient location. Breakfast buffet was standard fair, very average. If given the time (and not having a free b-fast included) I might have tried one of the interesting local restaurants. more
