Me and my boyfriend stayed here Labor day weekend in a tent. Prior to going we had read reviews and were a little scared at the bathroom situation and what others had said about various things. The campground itself is a little cramped but right down a short path is a beautiful beach on Lake Champlain and the location, right... More

Do not arrive before 1 pm the check in time as they will not let you in early. Arrived at 11:45 am. Wife checked in at office and came back to car around 12. Said we had to leave until 1 and escort would take us out. Escort came and led us out but it took about 15 minutes because... More

We stayed here in a pop up camper. The campground has high shade trees, which is really nice. We noticed that the bathrooms were very dirty when we arrived, and never were properly cleaned during the 5 days we stayed. The staff would empty the garbages in the bathrooms, but never actually scrubbed down the toilets or showers. We thought... More

I have been to this campground many times. It is a wonderful campground. It is a PUBLIC campground, so of course theres going to be alot of people there. This is a good thing. We always meet people from around the country here and it very amusing!!!! The campground owners and their staff are wonderful people, nothing but a joy.... More

I only got three hours of sleep when I stayed at this campground. I was up all night becaus eof some drunk people being very loud. Also there were dogs barking and little kids screaming. The staff were very rude to me when I told them about some people next to me making threats to me just because I was... More

Stayed at this campground last September, 2008. Had a small travel trailer but was boxed in by large bus like RVs. The sites extrememely small..i.e. our awning was mere inches away from the RV next to us. Washrooms facilities were dirty and were/are in serious need of upgrading..In addition, the pay showers did not have any faucets therefore you could... More

We stayed here 7/18/08-7/20/08 for the Vermont Brewer’s Festival. We really enjoyed the beach and they have a great playground if you have kids. There were just afew things that were kind of annoying. First, The campsites are very close together and they mix RV's W/ tents. Next, The showers take quarters! .50 for 6 minutes. (I think you actually... More

We had a fine time at the campground aside from horrible weather. The sites are small and not secluded, but for being so close to downtown we didn't mind at all. Being right near the beach is a plus and pets are allowed, which can be great if you have a dog or a nightmare if other dogs are barking... More
