Everything about our experience at 254 South Union was absolutely perfect. Prior to booking, I read the reviews on Trip Advisor, and was curious about the sharp contrast between all of the glowing reviews, and then a couple of reviews that referred to a mix-up with a reservation. Giving away a room is unacceptable, especially when you have confirmation that the room is booked. But to add insult to injury by slamming the door in your face instead of opening a bottle of wine, apologizing for the error and inconvenience and helping to call around for other accomodations is downright cruel. Absolutely not! We welcome all guests!! This was an unfortunate mix up, in that the reservation was cancelled prior to arrival. We make every effort to extend help and hospitality to every guest that arrives on our doorstep.

Come visit and find out for yourself. I am sure you will find that we offer wonderful accommodations and that we make every effort we can to make your visit a truly relaxing one. Sometimes people forget that they have canceled their reservation and since we are very small and have limited rooms we cannot remedy every mix-up that occurs.

My wife and I stayed here two nights in mid August. We were in the room with the side porch entrance. The room was mid sized but very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern. We stayed here for one night after seeing the reviews and were very pleased.
