Here is my first concern. I spoke with a woman at the Activities Center to book two horses before even booking a reservation because we were going to go elsewhere if we were not able to book a ride. We stayed just two days, but enjoyed a summer break with use of the pretty lake beach and kayaks. Eating our dinner outside with the lovely outlook and quiet, courteous service with truly unique gourmet level meals were a relaxed and special moment. Staff were helpful and cheerful. We had a reservation at The Mountain Top Inn and made it in order to take our pup along with us. My wife read Poodle Luver's review and became concerned and asked to cancel our reservation just a few days before we arrived. Normal cancellation policy at an inn like this is two weeks in advance.
