We chose the Barrows House on our visit to the Manchester area because it was one of the few B&Bs that could accomodate our group (a group of 3 that needed a 2 room suite accessible without climbing stairs). Our family has stayed at the Barrows House with friends' families for a weekend for most of the past 18 years. It may not be perfect, but for what it has it can't be beat. The location, close to the middle of the picture postcard gorgeous town of Dorset, and ten minutes from the shopping Mecca of Manchester, is superb.... more

Very disappointed, Extreamly over priced in relation to the other B and B's in the area. They seem will fee you to death, no breakfast included!!! If they offer drinks in the lobby it will seem that they are complimentary but the are not. My wife and 3 kids had cider and found out later that they wanted $5.00 dollars!!!!!... more

We stayed at the Barrows House during Fall 2004. The grounds are gorgeous, and sitting in the breakfast room by the windows, enjoying the lovely views and falling leaves is truly special.
