My company booked me at this motel as they could not find much around Ferrisburg. What a dump! I was leery about checking in as the hotel looked like the Bates Motel. The clerk gave me two keys and said pick the room you want. I opened the door to one room and it smelled musty, the carpet was stained and the bathroom window had a pillow case nailed up for a curtain. The other room smelled like a smoker had just left. It also had stained rug, shabby furniture and dirty wallpaper. I returned the keys to the desk and said I wasn't going to stay there. The clerk was polite and didn't make a fuss.
The only people that use the hotel must rent it by the hour. Eeek!

I was able to find a nice B&B to stay at. This area of Vermont doesn't have much national chain hotels in the area. So be very careful on what you choose. more
