Ferry Watch Inn is a wonderful refurbished old home on Lake Champlain with views of the Adirondack Mtns to the west and Green Mountains of Vt. to the east. And of course the ferry that crosses from NY to Vt. The hosts, the Werts, are friendly, warm and helpful and have created a little piece of heaven for themselves and their guests. We stayed in the "suite" which is a converted garage that serves as a 1 bedroom, living room, kitchenette and small bathroom. The suite provides a private entrance. Though the Ferry Watch Inn is a B&B, the suite does not come with breakfast although our hosts did invite us on our last day there to dine with the other guests. Breakfast was fabulous!

The suite was extremely clean and cozy, nice furnishings and convenient with the kitchen however the bathroom is tiny. There is no sink in the bathroom which is up a few steps. It wasn't a huge inconvenience except for my partner having to shave in the kitchen. We had the run of the... more
