My boyfriend and I just returned from our stay at Mendon Mountainview and loved it! Upon arrival we met one of the very friendly owners, Stacey who quickly upgraded us to a fireplace room. The room was very cozy and clean with a great view of Pico mountain from our window. I'm usually very apprehensive about the cleanliness of hotels,... more

Stayed for a few nights and found the beds hard and the pillows terrible and flat. The walls are thin, so beware of the room choices where dogs and children maybe in adjacent rooms. Suggest a top floor room, where the noise from the ceiling does not interfere with sleep. Take your own toilet paper, you may need it to... more

After our camping trip was rained off by the New Hampshire monsoon, we were looking for somewhere to have a few days away without breaking the bank. We came across the hotel by accident and had a wonderful time. The hotel is great value, especially compared to some of the over-priced chains we've stayed at lately. The outdoor pool (between... more

Our family totally enjoyed the stay at the lodge. Clean rooms, good service, great food. The area was busy because of the holiday, but both the hotel and staff made it feel like home. Met some wonderful people. Would go to the lodge again. It was nice to have the breakfast and dinner available right there. Great way to go... more

We stayed here for 3 nights in a deluxe room, which includes a fireplace, sofa, and a king bed. The room was average, the blanket was dirty so the whole stay we used just a sheet. The sofa was an uncomfortable futon that we barley used. The shower in the bathroom would not shut off completely so there was a... more

I'm confused by everyone's reviews. This is a mediocre motel with fake dusty plants and itchy polyester blankets in each room, nothing impressive, and about 20 minutes from the Killington ski area. Food at dinner was not good, all out of a can I'm guessing, the breakfast eggs and pancakes were served cold. We stayed three nights for a much... more

1/11/08 My husband and I stayed here 3 nights for a ski trip. I cannot say enough good things, as we had a great stay!! So far, this is one of my favorite places to stay for ski trips. It's always heavily booked. It's located in Mendon, VT and is directly across the street from the Cortina. (I do not... more

We enjoyed a great four night stay, and our stay exceeded our expectations...especially for under $100 oer night! Room amenities are basic, but met our needs. The bed was a little hard for my liking, but the jacuzzi tub made up for it. Restaurant on site was delicious and the staff was wonderful and pleasant. more

We have just returned from a trip to Killington, Vermont where we stayed at an attractive property called the Mendon Mountain View Lodge. Located just minutes from Rutland, Vermont and the Killington ski area the lodge is easily accessible from north and south. Many golf courses, lakes and parks are to be found here. We found this property to be... more

My son and I recently decided on a spur of the moment trip to Killington, after they had just gotten 12" of fresh powder midweek. I check the internet and found the Mendonview Lodge. The price of the room was great and looking at the pictures we were satisfied. On our way up from Philadelphia we had car trouble and... more
