The Long Trail Inn provides rustic charm, outstanding food and a great Irish bar. Great hosts. Close to climbing, skiing (Killington and Pico) and hiking. It's a fun place to stay. Plus, they are pet friendly. more

This is a quaint hotel, comfortably but simply furnished, with great atmosphere and a super friendly staff. It caters to Appalachian Trail hikers, so attracts lots of young guests, which adds a nice vibe to the surroundings. There is a piano in the main room and we were treated one night to three young hikers making music on the piano,... more

I stayed at the Inn at Long Trail over the weekend of 2/20/09. I had a fabulous time. The staff are consistently welcoming. I always breathe so much easier when I walk through the doors of the inn only to be greeted by Okie's smile , robust laugh and willingness to assist in anything. The Irish band, Trinity, was amazing. They... more

We visited over President's Weekend and really enjoyed it. First, the food was outstanding...while dinner was great, we actually enjoyed breakfast even more. The hot tub was a welcome relief to sore muscles after skiing. The kids enjoyed the game room while waiting for meals, and while we didn't spend too much time in the Great Room it seemed very... more

Just got back from a quick 2-night romantic getaway with my fiance. The Inn at Long Trail is a quaint, simple country inn across the street from Pico Mountain and about a 5-minute drive to the Killington Access Road. The room was very basic - no TV, phone or radio. Room #32 had a clean, comfortable queen bed, a dresser... more

Thank you once again Inn at Long Trail !! We had a stunning Thanksgiving dinner here the other day and it was top notch all the way, as is always the case with the Inn. Service was perfect, the food absolutely scrumptious, hot and of highest quality including the homemade Irish Soda Bread and dessert. This place just never disappoints.... more

The Inn @ Long Trail is located across from Pico Mountain--about a 10-minute drive from Killington. A friend and I planned a last-minute weekend getaway and stayed in one of the country rooms. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. CONS: ~Small rooms (Our country room had one queen bed, which was not the MOST comfortable, but after a... more

First thought - This is a rustic place, not the Hilton. I get that. We happen to like comfort food and log beams, so we sought this place out. Enjoyed it, but we also found it sort of a lesson in inconsistancies. Terrific and shabby at the same time. The rustic lodge common room, the pub, and the food are... more

after reading these positive reviews, i was pretty disappointed. we weren't expecting the ritz, but we were hoping for clean and cozy. we stayed in suite 16. we paid $233 for one friday night in late october that included dinner (entree and dessert) and full breakfast. drinks/alcohol, appetizers, and tips were extra. pros: the food was very good. we had... more

The inn has a fabulous casual ambience, very ski-country, and the staff and service are fantastic. The room was small but comfortable and very clean, the common room downstairs was great to hang out in with a huge fireplace to lounge by - and we had it all to ourselves because we're not skiiers! The hot tub was great, too,... more
