What a dump! $150 a night for a musty, damp room stuffed away literally in the basement - windows high on wall just about ground level. This used to be a nice hotel for the area, but they've just let the whole place go. The rooms rates are insane and the restaurant food is bad and over priced! more
I find myself staying at the Red Rob regularly. True, the place is 'worn-in' but definately clean and well maintained. fresh towels and linens daily and an excellent full breakfast everday with was included in the modest room rate. We stayed at the inn a couple of weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised. While it is not very modern, it has a Vermont feel to it. The indoor pool area was clean as were the rooms. Eating at Jasons only made the weekend that much better. Can't wait to go back. more
This hotel was probably nice in the 60"s when there was no other place to stay. The rooms havent been updated since then. The walls and doors are all paper thin. If you like listening to the people in the room next door or walking in the hall, this is the place for you. We didnt sleep for the three... more
We have stayed at this small hotel for many years. It has a wonderful dining room "Jasons". However, little has been done to keep it up to date. So we are looking for someplace else to stay. The Red Rob Inn used to be great, what happened? more
