We stayed here for a week near the end of March, it was near the end of the season. We ended up with unbelievably cold weather, even for Vermont, and had a decent week of skiing. This inn is not too far away from the main access road, it is fairly easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay. What... more

This hotel was a disappointment to us. Arriving late at night after travelling from the UK, we were greeted with a cup of tea. No-one offered to help us with our luggage even though there was no lift. The room which we had was furnished with 'antiques'. Antiques are fine if they are maintained. The knobs were falling off both... more

Very comfortable, down-home property. Owner most gracious and caring. Breakfasts made to order every morning. Great way to start the day. A true "we'll leave the light on for ya" kind of place. I loved it! more

We stayed at the Grey Bonnett for a few days of skiing during Presiden'ts week. As travelers who frequent Vermont, we've stayed in a variety of hotels, inns, B&B's and rented condos for skiing. This trip definitely rated on the low end. Everything about this inn is "fair." The rooms are sparse and minimal at best-- the bathrooms are very... more

We stayed here with Virgin for a ski trip. This was the first time to this part of the states and we wanted to try a new area. The Grey Bonnet Inn gets some mixed reviews on here, but as someone else said if your looking for a Hilton, this isnt it. What you do get (from our experience) is... more

Looking for a family friendly stay we found this simple hotel. The food is good with a comfortable lounge and bar area to relax in. The grounds are family friendly & well mantained, with a fair sized pool. Do not be put off by the less than impressive exterior, the genuinely welcoming hosts and quality facilities in this quiet but... more

We did a fly drive during the Fall to celebrate our Wedding, it was the fifth hotel/inn that we had stayed along the route arranged by Virgin Holidays UK, so I would guess it was early October. The winding mountains up to the inn were fantastic, not just for the unimaginable amount of colour from the trees but by the... more

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Grey Bonnet for skiing at Kilington. Nice hotel, somewhat rustic woodwork in the rooms. We arrived late, about 11pm, after drive from Boston airport. Door was open and key on the desk with a note "See you in the morning" Traveling with 2 teenagers we had booked a double/double room, but... more

This hotel was OK. It was in easy distance of the slopes, a ten minute drive and all the restaurants and bars are in between. The hosts were helpful and chatty. The hotel itself is quite homely with a nice big lounge and a cosy bar, well stocked. The hotel is not top of the range but adequate for what... more

Hotel has a lovely homely feel with open log fires and cosy bar for evening drinks. Restaurant food of good standard and reasonably priced compared to higher prices in the ski resort 4 miles away. Breakfast is complementary - buffet at weekend, table service mon-fri, choice of eggs with either bacon or sausage not both. Ample top ups of tea... more
