My husband and I return to the Timber Inn Motel every year. It is completely charming, clean, and in a terrific location. The value for your money is excellent - even on holiday weekends. Was here for a quick ski getaway and we knew we were going the cheap route. We don't mind simple and quirky, but there were some real issues with this motel that everyone should know: 1. The walls are paper thin; you will hear every cough, snore and TV show that your neighbors produce. 2. Both beds were so uncomfortable... more

Sorry about the sounds that travel through the walls. I try to be vigilent about excessive noise--late night TVs, loud talking, etc.--but am helpless to otherwise control sneezes and everyday sounds. A cabin in the woods we're not. However, I find that most guests are pretty respectful of their neighbors. As for our Jacuzzi, I take cleanliness and proper maintenance...

The Timber Inn is very quaint with a nice view of Okemo Mountain, very convenient to town and skiing. The owners were very nice and accomodating and had our keys ready for us when we arrived late. Upon entering the room, we were hit with a mildewy stink that was very strong. The room was very clean looking though. So... more

We tracked down the source of the odor in room #1 and installed a new floor and carpet on Dec. 1, 2008. Several other rooms also received new carpets this fall. Our Jacuzzi/sauna room is located next to guest rooms and we limit the hours of operation to avoid disturbing those guests.

We were impressed how clean and well maintained this little motel was. Our room was covered in knotty pine and pine beams and our window viewed Okemo mountain, about 1.5 miles away. The room had a mini fridge and microwave to boot. There is an indoor whirlpool and sauna too! The owner was very accomodating and was able to provide... more
