We'd definitely go back. What a great little place. "Motel" doesn't do it justice; it's almost like a B&B. Great views. Nice clean rooms. Wonderful, friendly, and attentive owners/managers. We really enjoyed our stay. (Especially the homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast.) more

Everything about the North Shire was wonderful. We were warmly greeted. The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The view was spectacular. The rates were very good for the area. They're adding a pub. If I ever had to return to the area, I'd definitely stay there. more

Our trip was a spur of the moment and I chose this motel based on tripadvisor, no complaints. Nicely designed, the way the rooms are arranged it almost seemed like separate cottages. I stayed here for two nights to snowboard at Stratton mountain. The rooms were clean and the area was quiet. The owners were very nice and helpful. We had bad weather the one day and the owner cancelled ours lift tickets for us and we got refunded. Reasonable distance from the slope....about 20 min. Glad I found this place..... more
