We stayed here for one very quiet and peaceful night recently. Some of the positive points:

--the owners were very warm and welcoming
--the location: 10 min drive to Middlebury, located in quiet area outside town
--room: the bed was as soft as a cloud, with a great comforter. It had a very authentic feel (real antiques and other touches, not at all froofy or tacky)
--breakfast was wonderful
--as they only have 3 rooms, you are likely to have a peaceful night.
--the house is historical and rustic

All in all, I highly recommend it. more
