This was my third time staying at the North Hero House and every year we look forward to coming back. It is one of our favorite destinations. This year I had business in Burlington but my wife joined me for the weekend at the Inn. We always stay in the Governor Salmon Suite, which is a beautiful room with a... More

North Hero House offers a New Year's celebration that is delightful; excellent food, great service and picture postcard Vermont lakefront architecture. If you want to be away from it all ask to stay in the lakefront buildings or stay right in the inn so that you can run downstairs in your pajamas for your first cup of coffee. In the... More

After being caught in a snowstorm on our way from Waterbury, our arrival at the North Hero House was very welcome. The inn is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. My favorite touch was the selection of DVDs (some very recent ones!) available to borrow from the inn. I'm not actually sure if the TV had a DVD player, but we... More

this place was in the most beautiful location on the edge of Lake Champlain. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed the whole time there. The beds were really comfortable and the staff really helpful. would definitely recommend it. More

Enjoyed dinner for 16 with my colleagues and our spouses on a beautiful Fall evening. The location on the shore of Lake Champlain in a classic Vermont village is picture-postcard-esque. The staff was welcoming and very pleasant and completely able to handle our large group (we had reservations in advance) amidst a flurry of Friday night in foliage season -... More

Stayed here for their midweek special in the cove house right on Lake Champlain. We sat on the screened porch overlooking the mountains of Vermont beyond the beautiful lake. Birds, geese and ducks dotted the sky and water. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. There is not a lot to do nearby...walk to the general store and meals at... More

A great spot for me and my partner. Together for 10 years and bed and breakfasts like this one really thrill us. The atmosphere is what we went for and I really liked how the place was so clean. Made the nights extra fun knowing that we could come back to our cozy room. Really loved it. More

We stayed here on the first night of a driving trip. The departure had been hectic. Our room on the lake side of the highway had a nice screen porch looking over the water. We watched a single cloud drift over the lake and then boil up when it hit the Green Mountains. It was a perfect transition to vacation.... More

The hotel is on a lovely spot- very quiet and GREAT restaurant. The room itself was a bit outdated and small, and it could use some updates. But overall, I recommend it. More
