I stayed here for the new year to go skiing at the Killington slopes but also expected a relaxing and quiet stay to rest from the skiing activities. Unfortunately it wasn't relaxing or quiet. I made arrangements with the owner to stay during the weekend of the new year before arrival. However, there were many things - basic things - that were falsely advertised on the website (which is strangely and coincidentally not working now!) and not disclosed by the owner (Wendi Corbin) when i booked the room and later discovered upon arrival, such as:

1. i didn't have my own private bath,

2. i couldn't pay for the room using any credit card, i had to pay cash.

3. i had to pay cash up front upon my arrival.

4. breakfast was NOT free or included in my room rate - if i wanted breakfast i had to pay $10-$15 extra up front with my room stay. there were also no free afternoon snacks or hot drinks available after coming back from the mountain as advertised unless... more
