We returned to the Holiday Inn for 4 nights as part of a 2 week self-planned tour of New England. Booking was made through Virgin Holidays, and we had previously visited the hotel in 2000, so new what to expect, and wanted to again use it as a base for day trips around Vermont. The hotel is located conveniently on... more

We are priority club members and can't believe the condition of this hotel. Pet stains on the rugs. Non-smoking rooms reaked of smoke- Bathroom was old and dirty. Musty smell everywhere. Even heard an employee say open the windows to air it out. Holiday Inn should be ashamed to have the owners use their name. more

made a reservation, tried to cancel it the same day due to reports of uncleanliness/mold/mildew, and was told I could not cancel and would not get a refund even though I had cancelled 2 weeks before reservation. This is terrible, I will absolutely never make a reservation here again and will never recommend this hotel to anyone!!! more

Their location is beautiful, almost like condo develooments, their staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and helpful. The rooms were squeekly clean and so tastefully decorated. NO PETs WERE ALLOWED WHICH IS GREAT.SAYS A LOT FOR THEIR QUALITY. AND NO SMOKING. The carpets were clean, bedding lovely. Had all the necessary features, micro, coffee pot, frig, hair blower, and the... more

Stopped for an overnight to break up a long drive with a round of golf. Our first impression as not a good one. While the desk clerk may have been smarter than a sack of rocks, he didn't look or act it. The real problem is the design and layout of the hotel. It's two story w/o elevator. Not a... more

This is a basic motel/hotel room and is fine if you are just looking for a place to park your hat. My wife and I stayed one night at a great rate obtained through hotwire.com. The hotel is in the center of Rutland and convenient to everything in the area. The front desk staff is courteous and helpful. The room... more

My husband, young son and I traveled to Rutland for an overnight to meet my father, his wife and two daughters. Rutland was a halfway point, so we chose what we thought would be the best place to be based and to catch up. Seven of us spent 24 hours there, so we had a pretty full experience. It was... more

We booked this hotel for a family ski vacation during Christmas week, 2008. Location was a bit far from the Killington ski slopes (15-20 min. driving time). But considering that the room price (booked online) was better than the over-priced Killington hotels of similar quality, we didn't mind the daily drive. Hotel lobby was very festive. The room was cleaned... more

We like this hotel as it provides my son and us ample places to play. We hit the warm pool after a day on the slopes and sit around the large pool area watching all of the kids play, some big kids too. There is ping pong and air hockey and foosball. Loads of fun. more
