Because of its excellent location I've stayed at Heart of the Village for years. I find the inn much improved in every category over the last ownership: well-heated well-stocked rooms, very nice linens; good coffee, yummy snacks, and wine available downstairs; very pleasant common areas. The friendly inn keeping staff are unobtrusive. They seem to have thought of everything.

The staff went over and above to make us feel special. The decor was very inviting and warm. The breakfast was made to our liking and was delicious. The location was central to many of the local points of interest. If in the area again we would stay there again.

Everything was fine: clean, reasonably friendly hosts, food pretty good... but not great.
