We stayed here for 2 nights on our travels around New England, and it was bettered by none. so much so we wish we had stayed much longer. The hosts Elizabeth and Richard made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door, til we sadly waved goodbye. The inn dates back to 1801 and has been styled in keeping with a homely, relaxing way making you feel comfortable from the outset. There are 4 rooms to choose from, each of which are decorated in an individual way, but all are recommended. Breakfast was a special time, served by candlelight, with individual requests never a problem. If you want a place for a truly relaxing break away from it all, no TV, mobiles (but the internet - just in case!) then this is the place for you. Be prepared to be sucked in and desperate to return! more
