We had to cancel our reservation here. While they provided us a "gift certificate" at the time for a future reservation, they no longer will honor the reservation. The receptionist was rude and not accommodating at all. We lost $137.50! more

We stayed at the Brass Lantern for 3 nights this summer after reading the reviews here and in the Lonely Planet guide. The Inn is situated to the north of Stowe Village but is only a short drive to most of the shops and restaurants. We had one lovely night in the Brass Lantern - thank you Nancy. Our room was a bit on the small side but stylishly decorated and had a very confortable bed. Its a short walk back in to the town of Stowe. Worth a visit. more
